Catholic Eldercare Celebrates 40th Anniversary Year
It’s a new year with new cheer, and reason to celebrate! It’s been 40 years since the doors opened to Catholic Eldercare (CEC) in 1983, and we’ve provided loving kindness and care to tenants and residents ever since.
We do important work at CEC, and it’s an honor to have done it for over four decades. We continue to provide compassionate care with the support of a village of people who surround and care for us. Gifts of money, time, talent, and resources from generous individuals, couples, families, businesses, and organizations within and beyond the Northeast community have sustained us. From donors to our Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, and community partners, we are grateful and blessed to work alongside good people for the good of our people.
Over the next 12 months, within the pages of Connections Magazine and blog posts, we will honor CEC founders, donors, residents, staff, and families. We will also tell you more of our story; how Catholic Eldercare came to be, what’s important to us, who is important to us, and how we continue to thrive. It’s a story of faith, love, dedication, trust, and a commitment to quality care and quality of life for older people in Northeast and beyond. It’s a story of community and gratitude.
