Wyndris, Catholic Eldercare's latest addition to Northeast's senior housing scene at Third Street and Broadway Street, is moving ahead. At the end of April, 30 Percent of the upscale independent living apartments were spoken for, and construction workers were framing units on the third floor. Touting "Northeast character and Downtown convenience," the 69-unit building will include a rooftop patio, barbeque and fire pit, wellness center, club room with game tables, on-site bistro, indoor dog run and concierge services. One-bedroom apartments start at $1,490 per month. The apartments are designed for people 62 and up, and are part of Eldercare's "continuum of care." Completion is expected in November and move-in will begin in December.
