Built in 2004, RiverVillage East assisted living of Minneapolis is designed with careful consideration of the wants and needs of today's adults 62+ who are accustomed to more space, greater privacy, and a diverse mix of leisure and spiritual activities. Residents enjoy private and congregate dining rooms, a movie theater, library, fitness center, whirlpool spa, coffee shop, art gallery, on-site chapel and community room.

RiverVillage East Catholic assisted living offers four different room floor plans and unique architecture featuring inviting "front porch" areas. The facility is located in a safe, family-friendly neighborhood and includes a spacious, enclosed "main street" connecting the residence with St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Residents truly feel at home as part of the community.

RiverVillage East also offers assisted living memory care apartments. Each resident lives in their own private apartment so they can enjoy their independence, while having the reassurance of 24-hour staff nearby to assist them as needed. The memory care staff has created a number of stimulating programs and activities designed specifically for memory impaired seniors. The surroundings feel like home, where residents are able to move around freely and safely on the secured memory care floor. They can enjoy companionship, activities, and meals in one of the community rooms. RiverVillage East memory care facility residents are also invited to special activities and events within the assisted living residence.

All RiverVillage East residents benefit from a variety of therapeutic recreation activities, including music performances, bingo and other games, shopping trips, and much, much more.
